24/365...Super cute cousin gratitude.

Okay, Okay so I admit it... I haven't been that good at Blogging daily.  I said from the start that blogging would be the hardest part but I've done pretty well on playing catch up with it.  I have been super proud that at least I take the picture daily or at least I had until today... today was the first day I took no pictures :( however I took so many yesterday that I'll cheat and use another one of  my cousins senior picutres.

She's super cute so I figured ya'll wouldn't mind.

Today I had the honor of photographing my cousin Lauren.

She is a Senior in High School. WOW, how time flys.  I remember carrying her around when she was Drakes age and now she is a smart, beautiful young lady about to graduate.  Love you Lots girl and I'm so proud!!

Some days are just eh, most are good and some are GREAT!

Today was one of those great days.

Sean made me a wonderful Breakfast while Drake and I slept in.  We all went in the jacuzzi for Drakes first swim which he loved.   Then headed down to the beach for a stroll on the boardwalk where we met up with Grandpa Drake and headed up to a roof top deck to enjoy cold beers while watching the sunset.

It was a beautiful ,bright, and sunny January day.

Went for a walk a by the bay with my friend Cecy and her 4 month baby boy Ezra.  We even saw a tight rope walker.

Drake is so silly and smart.

He kept the purple walrus in his mouth during his entire bath while chasing and grabbing as many other toys as he could. He sure knows how to put a smile on my face.

11/365...Life Changing Gratitude

Drake was bound and determined to crawl and he DID!!!

Today after weeks of getting to his knees, rocking back and forth and kinda pulling himself along. He figured out how to coordinate his arms and legs and crawled across the floor, changing our lives forever... let the baby proofing begin.

10-365.. Grandma Red-Horse is home safe.

Went and visited Grandma Red-Horse today, She had been away in New York.

Saw cousin Toby too, he didn't really like Drake cutting into his Grandma time and fussed about it but his paci helped sooth him.

9/365...Pearly Whites

All I got for Christmas was my 2 bottom teeth.

Well not really, Drake got lots and wonderful gifts but it occurred to me that I didn't have a good picture of his adorable baby teeth. the first one poked though at 6 months the next second was a few weeks after.

8/365...Wasn't me gratitude

Went to check out the new burger joint 5 Guys with my girls tonight, its like a east coast version of In and Out only with more yummy toppings and no drive thur.  Lots of hot greasy goodness... we all enjoyed the food.  as we were getting ready to leave my friend accidentally grab a drink off the next table and took and big drink thinking it was her soda. ewww yuck! It made the rest of us have a great chuckle!

Glad it wasn't me gratitude !

I have LOTS to learn.

6/365...Friendships old and new.

Reunited with Alyssa, one of my oldest and bestest friends from grade school today. 

 It had been way to long.

I meet her beautiful baby girl while we walked and talked around the lake.  Afterwards our babies started up a little friendship of their own playing on the grass.

I'm grateful for friendships old and new.

5/365...Free Time

For the second night in a row, Drake soothed himself to sleep. This is a big milestone stone since I'd normally rock and nurse him to bed. Yes, I admit I completely babied him, some might say spoiled. To me it was extra love. I feel a baby should be babied because, they are babies and it goes so fast as it is.

He is growing more and more independent. Its bittersweet.

I'm am however very grateful for my new free time at night.

Drake, my baby boy turned 7 months old today!

You've brighten each and everyone one of my days since you entered this world 7 months ago. Your smile and giggle,  concentration and awe. The sounds "awwww and eh, eh, eh ehhhhs" you make,  the pulling move you do as your learning to crawl, and look at you now... standing so Tall.

I'm grateful for you brightening my days these last 7 months!

ExudeGratitude365 is Born

Happy New Year! 2010 was one of the greatest years of my life, I'm so thankful and in reflecting all that happen last year and how fast it went.... it got me thinking; why not try and document 2011 by taking a pic a day, EVERYDAY: a 365 picture project. A Mighty Tremendous Task, seems prefect to help me learn the ins and out of my new camera ( NikonD90, my 1st DSLR) ,  practice my passion of photography while developing and exploring my photographic eye,  learn to blog /journal...surely the going to be the hardest and by far the scariest part( I sure hope this blogger has spell check & sorry my grammar sucks) and most Important Capture moments in life from the extraordinary to the mundane, or try and find the extraordinary in the mundane, to be inspired by all the little things... A 365 picture project is perfect way to count my blessings and so Exude Gratitude is born.

I going to back track yesterday and attach pics tomorrow and I never did figure out how to use the spell check :-/ I will soon, I promise. For now I'm off to bed...it's 11:49pm and in true Nicki style I decided to Take on this project on around 10pm this evening. God help me.

In honor of of the new year. I was indulging in a little me time by treating myself to a beauty mask while browsing on my new Ipad (thanks agian Mom & Dad). During which I came across  another bloggers 365 picture project and inspiration struck. Instantly I knew wanted to do one myself, however it seemed so daunting.   Then I thought about weather I had even taken a picture yesterday... I had :) That was all the proof I needed to begin and snapped a pic of myself in all my beauty mask glory.

I'm Grateful for the beauty of just doing it.

After all the Holiday Buzz.. it was nice to have a peaceful relaxing day at home and catch up on some much need rest.

I married the Man of my Dreams and have a Baby who is so Sweet. They continue to show and teach me the depth & beauty of Love.
